Dr. Jason Lue Yen, DDS-

When Dr. Lue Yen is not working, he and his wife enjoy spending time with their two children as well as friends and family. A fun fact about Dr. Lue Yen; He is originally from Jamaica where he was born and raised until moving to the states to further his education.

Dr. Lina Warda, DDS-

In her spare time, Dr. Warda enjoys traveling to her home country in Egypt with her Husband and children.

Dr. JIMMIE POwell, DDS-

Dr. Jimmie Powell was born in Rochester, New York, and raised in Durham, NC. He attended college at North Carolina A&T State University, earning a BS in Biology. After graduation, he attended the University Of North Carolina School Of Dentistry. Since graduation Dr. Powell has practiced in Wilmington, NC, and most recently, Greensboro, NC. Dr. Powell has made it a priority to continue to expand his knowledge of dentistry and oral health. He is working on becoming a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, which requires over 500 hours of advanced education.

Dr. Powell loves caring for his patients with a calm and welcoming demeanor. He prides himself on being a professional while acknowledging his patients’ humanity. His love for dentistry and ability to communicate allows him to educate patients and allow them to make the best possible decisions about their oral health. He aims to comprehensively treat patients and provide the most effective treatments to improve oral health.

When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Powell enjoys spending time with his parents, who live in Buford, and his dogs Jet, a three-year-old Goldendoodle, and Bravo, a ten-month-old Labradoodle. He is an avid North Carolina sports fan (particularly the Tarheels, Panthers, and Hurricanes) but also enjoys cheering on his brother, who plays football for West Point. His interests include trying out new technology, listening to music, watching sports and traveling with friends, and spending time with family. He is excited to join our office and have the opportunity to meet you and help with your dental needs.
